There are plenty of little things on this record that I could nitpick about, but in total, this album isn't incredibly terrible. The structure is unbalanced, having the four good songs all in a row at the end of the album. However, there is still good material. Starting with "Under the Black Flag," a song where Krepuskul actually gets their gang vocals right, things start to look better for this band. The riffs are improving, they're using transitions between their riffs, the songwriting is good, and the overall product of their music becomes well-rounded and achieves what I can only assume the sound they were going for this whole time. In total, there is a lot of potential, but these last four tracks cannot save this album from mediocrity.
