From the very first track of this four-song EP, one can already hear the NWOBHM and thrash metal influences of Forged in Black. Their style of NWOBHM-meets-thrash-metal-meets-power-metal is very unique and scarcely seen in modern times. It is very reminiscent of bands like Flotsam and Jetsam, Heretic, and Meliah Rage. But they also throw in some modern metal aspects such as breakdowns and a focus on lyrical structure.
