Become Death – Crossing the Dunes of Ruin

Overall, this is a pretty solid EP.  The production is not the best, but it suits the sound of Become Death.  The length is nice to chew, only having one long song, and the riffs are heavy and memorable.  Memorability, as well as originality, is something that is becoming less and less common in metal, so I suggest everyone check out this EP because it's one of the few new ones that will actually sound fresh.

Origin – Omnipresent

Origin had and still has a lot to their name ever since they released 2008's "Antithesis," and expectations were high ever since 20011's "Entity" failed to deliver as much as "Antithesis" did, mostly due to lack of band members.  So here comes "Omnipresent" with ex-Skinless vocalist Jason Keyser.
